Pinchos, tapas, big bites - it's Pintxa San Antonio 2018

10th anniversary of San Antonio’s culinary tour is back to see out the Ibiza winter.

Celebrating its tenth anniversary, Pintxa San Antonio is back for 2018 to spice up Thursday nights with tasty pincho or tapas and a drink deals to warm up the end of winter.

The event runs from this Thursday 22 February and then every week until 29 March with a selection of the yummy meals.

For as little as €2.50, a pincho and a drink is yours or a tapas dish with drink comes in at €4.50.

A selection of savoury, sweet and vegetarian dishes are on offer across 25 different restaurants and bars in San Antonio with some of the establishments offering the same fare during the day.

Look out for the famous mini-train, which whisks you to more far-flung establishments that are situated outside the town centre such as Can Gust, Flaherty's Irish Pub and Trigo Trago (Puchet Hotel). Hostal la Torre's selection is worth driving out to. Plus you get a fantastic sea view.

Eating tapas and pinchos the Spanish way could not be easier; the tradition is to to bar hop trying a dish and a drink in as many different places as possible.

You don't have to have a drink with each one as you can get both pinchos and tapas on their own for just 50 cents less each.

If you want to eat something more substantial, ask about the caprinchos which start from around €6 and are a gourmet's delight.

Each place has its own signature caprincho: choose items like a mouth-watering mini platter with Iberian pork as well as sirloin with pate and quails egg; a delightful cod confit with pesto alioli or a hearty pigs cheek and port pie.
