Ibiza's seventh annual wine festival is back this year this Saturday 22 April from 12 noon till late. This event is an opportunity to sample some of the finest choices of the event organisers, Vino & Co, the Sant Jordi wine shop and bar.

Held at Sluiz, a huge store crammed full of curiosities to delight your inner shopper, temptation abounds. What better way is there to spend a day than quaffing great wine in the sunshine and shoppping?

From the moment you arrive on Saturday 22 April, you will have the opportunity to sample 100 different wines from 30 producers. You will also learn about production techniques and how to taste, smell and appreciate wine.

Crowds gathering to taste the delicious wines at Sluiz

Many of the wines come from Spain but some are from further afield. Ibiza is of course represented with vineyard, Ibizkus, sharing their locally produced wines.

There is more than wine too. If beer is more your thing then you will have German and Spanish beers to whet your whistle. Sake, the Japanese rice wine is on offer too.

All this drinking will require some solid sustenance so it's good news that the Oyster Man is on hand. If tasty ham is more your style, Gastr-Oh! will be there to meet your needs. The usual tasty Sluiz menu is available too.

Taking place between midday and 20.00, the entrance fee is just €10 which gives you access to unlimited wine tasting.

Grab your glass and circulate the stalls to your hearts content. Just don't forget to take a designated driver or better still, grab a taxi for a wine-filled day of fun.
