Launching a new party on the island is always a challenge. But it's one that HYTE passed with an A plus in its debut season almost a year ago, skyrocketing to success in just three months. And in 2016, it's been confirmed that HYTE will return to the house that saw it shine - Amnesia Ibiza - again taking up the Wednesday night slot and preparing to transform the club's famous dancefloor into one of the most talked about in Ibiza.
Official dates for the party have yet to be announced - we're still waiting on tenterhooks for the opening party date - but what we can tell you is that HYTE's second season on the isle will kick off with a pre-opening party on 1st June, and that will set the vibes, the beats and the love for what the summer will sound like. Confirmed artists for this include techno chief Loco Dice, who'll be back to reclaim his crown alongside partner in crime Chris Liebing, with both ready to set the tone for the rest of summer. Plus there'll be appearances from Pan-Pot, Mar-T, Cuartero and Caleb Calloway, who'll all be throwing out energy from behind the booth. You can get your early bird tickets for this pre-season session with us for 35€.
The promoters have also revealed the first bunch of artists who'll appear throughout summer. Among the names are the incomparable DJ Harvey, the amazing Maya Jane Coles and Henrik Schwarz and Frank Wiedemann as Schwarzmann. Plus Enzo Siragusa has been welcomed into the HYTE fold and will bring his unbeatable Fuse presence to the main room over a number of dates throughout summer as part of a HYTE x FUSE hook up. An Ibiza exclusive has also been thrown into the mix, with critically-claimed Caribou confirmed for an exclusive live show with his band - one definitely not to be missed. And let's not forget about Mar-T who will be on resident duties throughout the whole HYTE season.
Many more names and exact dates will be announced soon, but as you can see, this is an extremely good first line-up composed of a huge variety of music talents. And as ever, keeping the techno fans as happy as possible is always HYTE's bottom line.
