This past 2017 was HYTE's third season at Amnesia. Having well and truly laid down the techno gauntlet over the past two seasons, this year built on its already rock solid foundations. A joint production by Amnesia and star-laden talent agency Artist Alife, HYTE once again brought some of the biggest names in techno to the island over the course of the summer.
That was already clear at the pre-opening party on Wednesday 31 May, when the backbone of the night's DJs performed. Ibiza's prodigal son Loco Dice returned alongside the far-reaching depths of Chris Liebing and Pan-Pot with Tiga also stopping in as a special guest. You also had new HYTE residents Benny Rodrigues, Renato Ratier and Archie Hamilton giving you a taste of how they were to bolster the upcoming season.
The season started on 28 June with Loco Dice together with Masters At Work icon Kenny Dope and Bambounou on the Terrace while Chris Liebing headed the club with Steve Rachmad and Cuartero b2b Mar-T, also appearing five other times throughout the season.
After their 2016 venture, London-born clubbing institution FUSE also descended on White Isle soil in another special collaboration with HYTE. Running across four exclusive dates, FUSE's first showdown was at the opening party on Wednesday 19 July with founder Enzo Siragusa, leading the action in the Main Room. While Siragusa was confirmed to play across FUSE's following dates (16 August, 6 September and 27 September), fellow FUSE residents Seb Zito, Archie Hamilton, Rossko and Rich NxT also featured alongside special guests.
Full line-ups are still below, but guests throughout this past season included Danny Tenaglia, Dubfire, Erick Morillo, Gregor Tresher, Guti, Henrik Schwarz, Maya Janes Coles, Matthias Kaden, Matrixxman, Monika Kruse, Nick Curly, Seb Zito, Radio Slave and Luigi Madonna, among many others.
Techno lashings all round.
