It's Tapavi III in Santa Eulalia next Friday 30th October. Yes, tapas and wine day returns for the third year in Santa Eulalia's street of restaurants, Calle San Vicente and Isidoro Macabich It's been organised again by the restaurants and shops in the street, collectively known as Bongusto, and supported by the town council.
The idea, and it's a good one, is to showcase the food and wine on offer in the street by providing lashings of the stuff at extremely economical prices. Starting at 20.30 you'll be able to sample a selection of tapas, desserts and wine for only €10! The wine's provided by local merchants Enotecum who also organise private wine tastings and courses plus some of the big wine tastings on the island like Viniterraneus.
Tapavi is just another example of the wonderful gastronomic choice we have on the island with food festivals, the tapa route of San Antonio and that town's tapas festival.
