Hands up who wants to build the new Guardia Civil HQ in Ibiza. All you have to do is submit the lowest budget price - around €5 million - and obviously some credentials as to your ability to undertake such construction work and you're away.
The project, which has been delayed for more than two years so far, will consist of 6 different blocks where married officers and their families will live, accommodation for single officers, a restaurant, and the business end, where the Guardia do whatever it is they do.
The new HQ will occupy the airport road site of the old HQ which was demolished about 4 years ago - just before it fell down - as it was in rather a shabby condition. Would be constructors have until March 17th to get their bids in.
