After a nine year hiatus, Submission is back on Ibiza soil for the lustful, sensual beings amongst us who like their parties explicitly kinky.
Submission's founder, Ronald Lloyd High Eliston (or DJ Rubber Ron as he became known), led it to become one of the largest and longest running themed events of its kind in Europe. You had 3,000 hedonists through the doors and appearances from high-calibre attendees, including The Rolling Stones, Simply Red, Prince, Paul Oakenfold, Jean-Paul Gautier and Vivienne Westwood, among names that will remain hushed. It soon reached the shores of Ibiza and ran a one-off event in 1995 that inspired the legendary MANUMISSION shows. After committing to the White Isle with a three year residency, Ron hit pause, dug into the world of art and unleashed a burning desire to push Submission as an artistic outlet for sexual liberation.
Now, nearly a decade on, Ron's vision is to lay on the most sensational Submission events to date, with the attendees being the real reason behind its potential. The leading pleasure seekers from the erotic and fetish world have pledged their allegiance to the cause and will showcase their own unique styles every week.
Every Saturday at Heart from 16 July to 10 September and it's open to adults of all ages, genders and sexual orientation.
