Always a huge party, not merely confined to Coxy's techno leanings but exploring a huge variety of underground dance music... curated, DJed and even slightly MCed by the much-loved figurehead, our main man Carl Cox.
It's been some of the biggest news to come out of the island since the close of the 2015 season - Carl Cox is leaving Space after the 2016 season, after which the club goes into a state of transition with the changing of the guard.
So, 2016 will be Carl's 15th season and his longest yet, running for 15 weeks with one week for every year of his Ibiza journey. To celebrate his years in action, Coxy will be bringing back DJs who are special to the history of Music is Revolution and as always, he'll be sharing his passion for future talent by giving the booth to fresh artists in the game. Confirmed to be joining the carnage, we have the legendary French-born Francois K, US House heroes Danny Tenaglia and Masters At Work, the illustrious Sasha, dance legends John Digweed, Fatboy Slim, Josh Wink and Jon Rundell, as well as Cadenza boss Luciano, in-demand Pan-Pot, Detroit heavyweight Carl Craig, Berlin-based Magda, Switzerland's Deetron, Adam Beyer b2b with Ida Engberg, plus Italian giants Marco Carola and Joseph Capriati. Drum and bass will be heard from Andy C & Tonn Piper (all night long) and elsewhere we'll have Guy J, UNER, James Lavelle and self-proclaimed House Gangster DJ Sneak. In support of new faces on the scene, we’ll also see Lauren Lo Sung and Eli & Fur.
Most recently added to the line-up is Loco Dice, Nicole Moudaber, Nic Fanciulli, Davide Squillace, Chris Liebing, Yousef, Cristian Varela, Eric Prydz who’ll be performing under his techno alter ego Cirez D, Eats Everything, Julio Bashmore, Catz N' Dogz, Monika Kruse, Matthias Tanzmann, Heidi, B.Traits, Nina Kraviz, Kölsch, tINI, and Hot Since 82.
The EL salon and Premier Etage this year will be holding the ground with Clara Da Costa Presents Jacks House, Electronique, Digital:Grooveand Unity Radio, and Future Disco will be hosting two nights on the Sunset Terrace during the Season with Ashworth, Few Nolder (Live) & Future Disco resident Sean Brosnan.
Always keen to unite the people in a progressive and dynamic love of music, Coxy's mantra for his Space 2016 residency is 'Music is Revolution - The Final Chapter'. The tried, tested and hugely successful formula kicks off for the final season on Tuesday 14 June and runs until the closing on Tuesday 20 September 2016. The longest season to date.
Let the Final Chapter begin, but never end.
