Right now, the first trickle of tourists have started to arrive. There is positivity in the air and even the hushed talk of parties. Ibiza is waking up. While we inch ever closer to party announcements, there's still a few things happening that are worth checking out.
Tomorrow, Saturday 29 May, one of our favourite beach clubs, Tanit Beach Ibiza, reopens after a one year hiatus, for its 2021 opening party. The Melon Bomb posse will make a welcome return to the helm, to ensure the mood is just as hot as the promised sunshine.
For us locals, this event needs no extra hype. But if you happen to be one of Ibiza's early visitors, take it from us, this is a hot tip.
Sadly, tables have already been booked out. That doesn't mean you have to miss out, however. Saddle up to Playa d'en Bossa's glorious golden sands, close enough so you can hear the tunes.
Although this is a sit-down affair, Melon Bomb always guarantee vibes with their brand of disco-infused house.
