From June 11 to 15, Ibiza Gay Pride will be in full swing for 2019 for a flamboyant and colourful display of diversity celebrating the rights of the LGBTQI community on Ibiza and worldwide.
One of the main attractions of the event is the vibrant and exciting Mardi Gras style street parade, known as Great March for Rights parade on Saturday June 15 ending with a party in the port area.
Ibiza Gay Pride takes place in and around the port area of Ibiza Town and includes a reading of a rights' manifesto, by transgender activist Topacio Fresh, one of the star attractions this year.

On releasing the 2019 programme, Antonio Balibrea, director of Ibiza Gay Pride, commented: "In Ibiza and in all the Balearic Islands we know that we have strong support, though we also fight for the rights of people who are in places where even today being gay is persecuted and continues to be a crime”.
There's plenty to be getting involved in before the rights' parade and first up, its film time on Tuesday at the IBICINE Film Festival, where a sample of LGBTQ short films will be shown.
On Wednesday, drag act and Britain's Got Talent star, Ruby Murry will perform for attendees in the port area in the Welcome Show starting from 21:30.
Decked out by the Ibiza Light festival, the port will be transformed into a spectacular LGBTQI kingdom. Expect colour, light and fabulousness.
Fancy a party on Friday? Head to Lola's for Animal Park, the one and only gay men's party in Ibiza, starting from 00:00 to see you through to the final day of festivities.
