Sharing is the order of the day at the cosy and highly-rated El Naranjo on the street of Calle de San José in Santa Eulalia. Its ‘Dinner for Lovers' is a great value, six-course degustation menu, including a cocktail and a bottle of wine or Cava per couple for only €32. The art-filled venue will only boost your love creativity.

Beautiful sea views and a mainly deserted beach are what you will get on the day of lovers at the sublime Bali Beach restaurant. A special midday menu is on offer priced at just €22 with luxury starters like aphrodisiacal oysters, luscious Ibizan red prawns or jamon Ibérico cured ham. A nice price for beachside opulence.

For romantic views across the countryside, it is hard to beat the beautiful vistas from the terrace of Can Curreu. This impressive agroturismo hotel, surrounded by orange trees, is a firm favourite with local residents and exudes classic Ibizan charm, inside and out. The five-course menu is €38.50 and includes a house speciality aperitif.

Es Jardins de Fruitera is luring lovers to its rustic farmhouse with a tempting menu including fresh produce from its market garden. Octopus is the star of the show - inviting diners to wrap their tentacles around each other end enjoy the four courses while sipping the Passion Mojito that is included in the €40 per person price.

Dine in sumptuous Italian style, surrounded by super sleek yachts and with the romantic backdrop of Dalt Vila across the bay, at chic restaurant IT in Ibiza Town's Marina Botafoch. The restaurant has produced a menu, which is even making me drool as I type this, composed of four starters to share, plus a main course and dessert. The menu is a slightly higher price than some of our selection at €48 per person, but what price cool sophistication?
