Many weekly parties - including Cocoon, Afterlife and Defected - have their affiliated labels, but often even those without a permanent weekly home pop up on the island throughout the course of the season. Here are the ones coming up on Ibiza this summer.
With some of electronic music's leading labels commanding huge followings, it stands to reason that parties are keen to collaborate on events. When you think about it, it makes perfect sense.
From a clubber's perspective, what better way to know whether you will like the vibe of a party than a takeover by your favourite label.
Here we take a look at some of our highlights coming up. Have a look at the special one-offs taking place between now and the end of the season. Not sure about them? All good, we picked out a few select tracks from each label to help or remind you just what treats these are.
We Are the Brave | Lost In Ibiza | 11 July
Having long been a staple of the Drumcode camp, Alan Fitzpatrick decided to head out on his own in 2016 by launching his own label. We Are the Brave was born, and Alan brought the sound of 90s rave nostalgia up-to-date.
As with previous years, Big Al is heavily involved with Do Not Sleep alongside Darius Syrossian, so you can catch him multiple times at Amnesia on Thursdays. However, this three and a half hour set on San Antonio's underground boat party Lost In Ibiza can't be overlooked.
You can even catch the big man spinning later on at Paradise with the combo ticket option. Owing to a certain football match, this sets sails and returns to port slightly earlier than usual. 16:00-19:30. They are the brave - and they do what they want!
Straight out the block. WATB's latest release from one of the label's brightest young talents. Ronnie Spiteri's future is hot.
In response to the tragic Manchester bombings, here is Darius Syrossian's tribute to the city he holds so dear to his heart.
This one is the release that started the movement - arguably Fitzpatrick's biggest club hit to date - and he's still receiving requests to play it in his sets.
And finally, here's a mix to get you in the mood.
FUSE | Pyramid | Amnesia | 16 July
FUSE has a style all of its own. Those stripped-back deep tech grooves have found favour with a legion of partygoers from Shoreditch to the shores of Ibiza. This isn't music, it's fusic.
FUSE are no strangers to Amnesia's Club room. They were a pivotal component of HYTE's three-year run at the venue 2015-2017, so this is a much welcomed returned for the East London party collective.
Enzo Siragusa - the man widely touted as following in Loco Dice's footsteps - leads the line-up, with label mates Seb Zito and Rossko. They are supported by Game Over's Jamie Mannion. Meanwhile Ricardo Villalobos, Sonja Moonear and Zip will be bringing magic to the Terrace.
Archie Hamilton's latest production packs a punch.
A recent one from the sub-label INFUSE - house legend DJ Gregory hooks up with Desolat's Traumer.
Enzo and Archie hook up in the studio with another regular FUSE guest Subb-An.
Finally, have a listen of this to get you in the mood.
Diynamic | Pyramid | Amnesia | 23 July
Just seven days later there's another takeover at Pyramid. Only this time it's the entire venue. Solomun's Hamburg-based imprint Diynamic has a deeply loyal fanbase, but this marks its biggest event in Ibiza to date.
Solomun is still the King of Pacha each and every Sunday night with his ever-popular +1 party concept. However, it's how busy his appearances are elsewhere on the island that underlines his monumental appeal.
On Monday 23 July Mladen invites label regulars Adriatique, HOSH, live pair Kollectiv Turmstrasse, his little sister Magdalena, Italian duo Undercatt and more across both Amnesia's cavernous dance floors.
An early front-runner for track of the summer, Undercatt return with another killer production.
The release that announced Brazilian ANNA to the world stage.
A favourite of Solomun's from a few year's ago.
You have another chance for this one at DC10 on Friday 14 September.
Here's a mix to get the mood going.
Drumcode | RESISTANCE | Privilege | 7 August
"Drumcode for life" is the patter of devoutly loyal fans of the Swedish techno imprint. Calls for Drumcode to have a presence on the White Isle have been sounded for a while now. This RESISTANCE takeover, plus its own designated festival in Amsterdam has led to 2018 being dubbed "The Year of the 'Code."
Husband and wife label heads Adam Beyer and Ida Engberg are now permanent residents on Ibiza. It says much about their affinity for the island that they now call here their home. On Tuesday 7 August, a colossal line-up featuring the label's core artists set up shop in the world's largest club.
The main room boasts Pan-Pot, Ilario Alicante and Enrico Sangiuliano, with the marquee drawer being Beyer going back-to-back with Joseph Capriati. In Vista club, Ida is joined by ANNA, Layton Giordani and Wehbba.
This one is from his recent, exceptional sci-fi concept album Biomorph.
The Glaswegian underground production factory scored a hit with this stomper.
Layton Giordani is just one of the exciting new talents who will be showcased on 7 August.
Here's a mix to warm you up.
Cuttin' Headz vs Tuskegee | DC10 | 17 August
If there are two names which are synonymous with DC10 in recent years, then those names are Seth Troxler and The Martinez Brothers. The Circoloco regulars have been the talisman that has kept the firing burning for the island's most decorated of underground venues.
Their relationship runs much deeper than sharing the occasional DJ booth, and in 2014 the trio launched Tuskegee as a joint venture. With all three sharing a penchant for wax, the project would focus on putting out vinyl releases.
Not content with being able to catch them on multiple Mondays this summer, they join forces for this special takeover on Friday 17 August. We are expecting some more legendary back-to-back action for this one.
Chris and Stevie Jr bring fellow NY house royalty Little Louie Vega on board, a passing of the torch.
An ode to Ibiza's famous pagan landmark of (almost) the same name perhaps?
Seth being his full-blown weird self.
Here's one more mix to get you warmed up.
Vatos Locos | Rebels Land | Benimussa Park | 31 July and 28 August
Having brought Steve Lawler's cult label/party VIVa Warriors to the abandoned zoo earlier this summer, Capadi RebelsLand is at it again. This time it has invited Hector's underground party series Vatos Locos along for the ride.
VL Recordings is a relatively new platform but one that has wasted little time in making its presence felt. Hector's crew epitomise the vibe of Playa del Carmen's BPM festival and now they are exporting their unique sound worldwide.
This is the second of two exclusive takeovers at RebelsLand this summer. If you miss the first on 31 July, then make sure you're in town for part two.
Fellow Latin American Guti adds his magical touch to this re-rub.
With Seb Zito having been a regular for Rebels Land this summer, it's a cert we'll hear this one.
One from el jefe himself = a killer track.
Here's more to give you an idea.
elrow Music | elrow | Amnesia | 29 September
elrow's madcap antics are known the world over. In fact, the elrow experience is now exported globally to over 15 countries on 5 separate continents. What is less publicised is that elrow is also a successful artist management company and production house. It even has its own record label wing.
Naturally, it has been a platform to release music by the brand's resident DJs, including Marc Maya, De La Swing, Toni Varga and Bastian Bux. Conversely, it has also nurtured emerging talent, such as Atriea, Cloonee, Hott Like Detroit, James Campbell and Pete Dorling.
The crazy gang's penultimate party of 2018 will feature Eats Everything, wAFF, Andres Campo and Tini Gessler on the terrace, while Seth Troxler plays all night long in the Elrow City hosted club room.
Veteran UK house duo graced the label with this bomb EP.
Ki Creighton is another exciting talent being developed by the label.
Horns & hats - we couldn't think of a better track name to sum-up elrow.
Here's a mix to give you an idea.
So take your pick and take advantage of the chance to check out some of the labels' finest talent.
