The 2018 Formentera Jazz Festival swings in this year for the fourth instalment of an annual event with four days of great sections and bridges from 31 May to 3 June.
The opening party takes place at Blue Bar on Migjorn beach from 20:00 on Thursday 31 May, a great acoustic and visual backdrop.
One 1-2 June, all events take place in the island's capital San Francisco and feature some great names in jazz. Highlight the Pere Navarro Quartet is set to put on a dazzling array of bass, percussion and vocals.
On the main day (2 June), fans of improvisation, should join the Junior Impro Workshop or jam the night the night away with Professor Angel Dust going for a 02:00 climax.
Formentera's laid back vibe and will be the perfect setting to carry on the Jazz Festival baton from Ibiza and note down a new Balearic stanza to the poetry that is jazz.
