The golden opportunity of a club residency is one sought by DJs the world over. The BURN energy drink brand gives budding DJs the chance to compete with their mixing skills.
With 2018 marking the eighth year of the competition, BURN Residency seeks out undiscovered DJ talent from across the globe. This event is open for registration, with deadline date set for the 20 March.
Finalists are given the chance to perform at iconic clubs during a summer residency on Ibiza, including IMS Dalt Vila, a dream come true for any up-and-coming DJ.
For the winner, there are many benefits. Mentorship from world-class DJs, which in the past have included Pete Tong, Luciano and Loco Dice. A prize of €100,000 is also awarded to help the winner with their future career.
Last year it was a DJ from Turkey, Furkan Kurt who claimed the victory of the prestigious prize. The year before that, Italian DJ Lollino won and now performs regularly for HYTE.
