Do Not Sleep, one of the rawest parties on the island held at the stripped back Sankeys, has decided to up its ante by adding techno titan Alan Fitzpatrick to three more dates of its line-up this season. Between now and the closing on 26 September, that's six more total chances to see the Southampton native slam it at Sankeys.
Things are certainly heating up here on Ibiza now that we are in peak season, and I mean that in more ways than one. Temperatures are reaching sweltering hot levels throughout the day and parties are unloading top notch line-ups at night for the masses making their way to the White Isle.
Fitzpatrick has had one hell of a year up until this point, selling out two boat parties for Lost in Ibiza as well packing his shows at Paradise. He does this all on top of the myriad of other shows that he plays around the world. Shows which include Awakenings and the other various Drumcode events attended by tens of thousands of people.
If you were at Do Not Sleep last Tuesday, you know that Fitzpatrick smashed it up in the Lab, representing his newly launched We Are The Brave imprint. The team over at Do Not Sleep was so impressed with the response from the crowd that they had to book him again before someone else picked him up.
The next few weeks in August will see the Englishman in the Sankeys Basement, throwing down with the likes of Darius Syrossian, Nathan Barato, Huxley, Detlef and more. While he won't be hosting his own room for the next four dates, you can count on him playing a proper set in the Bossa hotspot's main room to keep the restless dancing going all night long.
For those who do want to see the techno don with his imprint, you're in luck as We Are The Brave will be returning for the last two Do Not Sleep parties this season. Accompanying him will be moody techno and house producer Reset Robot, label-mate Boxia, as well as some very special guests.
Do Not Sleep has become known for its attention and emphasis on the music and the addition of Fitzpatrick reinforces their dedication to this focus. No gimmicks, no additional fancy production, just more thumping music to keep your blood pumping all night long. Check out the dates and line-ups below.
