The Cocoon crew have come of age and it shows. Ready to start their 18th season on Ibiza, they have dished out a night by night line-up that makes it impossible for any techno lover to resist the loud beckoning of Monday nights at Amnesia.
Ibiza's original techno party, Cocoon makes every date unmissable. With 19 weeks to choose from, each one of them brings together a flood of underground techno talent. Sven Väth will play at 14 of them. Eleven dates will present shows exclusive to Cocoon by two titans of electronic music: six with Ricardo Villalobos and five with Richie Hawtin.
The month of June sees master of innovation Richie Hawtin, a live performance by Gaiser with his unique style of atmospheric bass-line driven techno and the perfectly balanced Fabio Florido take over Amnesia. Also on the roster Acid Pauli, Adam Beyer, Paradise resident Patrick Topping, Nina Kraviz, tINI, Josh Wink and Ilario Alicante among others.
In July the decks will see none other than Cocoon veteran Ricardo Villalobos, as well as Solomun, Dorian Paic, Seth Troxler, Craig Richards and Alex & Digby. Live performances by Âme and Christian Burkhardt are also set.
August brings in Innervisions head honcho Dixon, the young prodigy Rødhåd who is among the best end of night DJs around, Luciano and Sonja Moonear, Ben UFO, Einzelkind, Popof, Adriatique and many others, including more from Richie Hawtin, Nina Kraviz, Adam Beyer and tINI.
In September Richie Hawtin and Ricardo Villalobos return, as well as Adam Beyer and Hito. Raresh, Ben Klock, Slam, Nastia and Dana Ruh will also be hitting the decks, plus more from Nina Kraviz, tINI, Sonja Moonear, techno maverick Matador Live and Fabio Florido.
