Ushuaïa´s mammoth opening parties are notorious for grabbing us by the ankles and dragging us deeper into the underground with a host of DJs known to house, techno and tech house fiends. And from a glance at 2017´s line-up, Saturday 27 May will be dipped in that faultless underground formula.
It all kicks off at noon, and in for the ride is Paul Kalkbrenner and he´ll be spanking us with the science fiction whip as he debuts his brand-new concept, Back To The Future. His mix tapes, which take the listener on a little trip through his personal history of electronic music, have had a huge following, with millions of fans reaching out to stream or download his chronicles. Joining him is a solid collective of Ibiza favourites, with some being regulars at Ushuaïa. In for the spin is Andrea Oliva, Steve Lawler, David Squillace b2b Martin Buttrich, UNER, Eats Everything, Francisco Allendes and Raúl Rodriguez.
While the music can easily speak for itself, as it´s Ushuaïa you can expect your day to be packed out with some galactic productions and stage designs, pyrotechnics, and serious eye-splitting lighting set-ups.
