Nocturnal launches at Club 107 this weekend

Hector Moralez to headline debut session at Club 107.

This weekend Ibiza will welcome new fiesta, Nocturnal, into its circle of underground house and techno rescue.

Conceptualised by island resident Kevin D´Cruz, it launches on Saturday 25 March and joining him for its debut session is the much-lauded US producer, Hector Moralez. He's up there in the upper echelon of house music producers, with acclaim from Derrick Carter, Doc Martin, Dan Ghenacia, Apollonia and Chris Carrier. You may have seen him spilling the sonic venom across the island over the last few seasons, as he's clocked up gigs at The Zoo Project, Vista Club, Pacha, Lips and Sankeys.

As for your host, D'Cruz, the London-born DJ and producer has been bolstering the bass from an early age, playing at warehouses, universities and clubs - including Ministry of Sound aged 17. In 2013 he was added to FACT's artist line-up and that coup had him playing alongside Kevin Saunderson, Audiofly, Timo Maas, Satoshi Tomiie, Reset Robot, Guy J, Umek, Uto Karem, and Filterheadz. And if that wasn't enough to secure your spot on that dance floor, he's also played alongside Yousef and the legendary Laurent Garnier at Yousef's much-loved Circus event series.

After the launch on Saturday, Nocturnal will be claiming Thursdays as its regular slot, with D'Cruz anticipating that it will become a monthly or bi-monthly event series. The venue is Club 107, and with the newly refurbed venue now being loaded with a staunch sound system, you're in for a superb session.

This year's season is headed our way, but until then, here's some of the good stuff to keep you juiced up and prepped for six months of carnage.
