Last weekend, Cocoon announced a tantalising taster of what's to come in 2016, revealing a line-up loaded with big hitters that left us anxious to know more. And today, those tempters have done it again, releasing more information that's got us just as hot under the collar.
This time around, news is in reference to Cocoon's earliest ever opening party on Monday 30th May, and most importantly, the musical magicians who are set to break us into another season dominated by Cocoon craziness, probably not very gently. Sven Väth will of course take the reins on the Terrace, and for the opening extravaganza he'll be joined by Dixon - a pairing that's sure to evoke inhuman levels of salivation for the majority of us. Over in the main room, Cocoon linchpin Ilario Alicante will work some of his renowned wizardry on an inevitably appreciative crowd, while Gaiser will add his much celebrated live act to the mix and techno titans, Slam, will complete the bill. There'll also be visuals courtesy of Dub Video Connection.
So, another year, another season spent bowing down at the altar of Cocoon. Some things never change.
Cocoon will run for a mammoth 19 weeks from 30th May to 3rd October.
