The battle between sunshine sessions and nocturnal mischief gained a new army when Ocean Beach Ibiza opened its doors just four years ago. It seems like it's been here for longer considering how infamous the San Antonio pool party destination has become amongst the tourist pack. The ingredients of Ocean Beach Ibiza has this venue entering the holiday itinerary weeks before you even land because it guarantees to be up there as one your highlights on the island.
Every day from noon, you’ll find a pool party paradise with great summer anthem worthy tunes, good looking humans, VIP beds, lush gardens, delicious food, gorgeous dancers and suspended acrobats, refreshing cocktails and a view over San An Bay as the sunset steals the show.
It opens on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays from 30th April and launches into the season with a full weekly schedule from 20th May until 30th September. Tickets for its parties, running from 12 noon (music from 1pm) to 9/10pm, are very reasonably priced and can be bagged for anything between €10 and €35, depending on the party and particular time of year. It's the fifth year for Hed Kandi on the island and this season Ocean Beach Ibiza will be the only place where you can experience its brand of glitz and glamour. Kick off your week with the extravagance factor at Hed Kandi listening to resident DJs laying down a soundtrack that you’ll no doubt be adding to your summer playlists. Arriving with an all-new themed show, as well as official album launch parties, this one will be an easy lure for daytime dancers.

7th June – 27th September
KISS FM is the home of old school tunes and dance music anthems. Returning to Ocean Beach Ibiza for a second season, expect more tunes of the classics calibre. The 2016 line-ups are still underwraps, but last year’s DJs included Rickie & Melvin, Dixon Brothers, Steve Smart, Alex Presents, Mike Delinquent, MK, Justin Wilkes, Tinea, Funk Butcher, and Wideboys.

Ibiza Sensations
8th June – 28th September
In the mid-week slot is a pool party hosted by Luis Del Villar and friends. It’s the fourth summer for Ibiza Sensations at Ocean Beach and what you’ll get is a selection of the best Balearic house music with a theatrical twist. From acrobats flexing while suspended above the pool, to supple dancers, expect a good show from this 'sensational' pool party.

Ministry of Sound VIP
2nd June – 29th September
Another party in its second year running is Ministry of Sound. It’s a massive clubbing brand that you’ll probably well acquainted with in some shape of noisy form. The VIP element arrives with its offering of glamour and sophistication that's regularly heard on their No.1 selling VIP compilation. Each week VIP resident DJ Spoony will be spinning the most exclusive tracks from the music industry elite with special guests each week. Prep yourselves to join the glitterati and dance through the sunshine to the best RnB, hip-hop and house music in the industry.

Ocean Pool Party
27th May – 23rd September
With 'pool party' in the name, it is indeed all about the dive bombs and the splash, with a focus on the swimming pool. The music will be summer dance classics old and new, and the hits are coming from DJs Grant Collins and Sam Dungate. While you’re not shamelessly flirting, chucking some form of the opposite or same sex into the pool, you can watch some theatrical entertainment from Arte Volante.

Soul Heaven
4th June - 24th September
Soul Heaven descends to our shores for its fourth summer at Ocean Beach, playing out the freshest sounds and cutting edge music to a switched on party crowd from all corners of the globe. Each week will have in some special guests providing crowds with a memorable soulful soundtrack. Line-ups to be announced very soon, but expect fresh, deep and soulful music in the divine aquatic surrounds of Ocean Beach Ibiza.
Sunday
Sunday, the day of rest that will be anything but, hosts a rotating selection of residencies and one-off parties to bring the spice of variety to Ocean's sleek surrounds. Sin Sundays, Boat Club Promotions and Ibiza Spray are three parties that will regularly finding themselves stealing the Sunday show.

Ocean Beach Opening Party
Friday 20th May
After a series of pool party sessions, the season officially kicks off on Friday 20th May. Rest assured you’ll be in for a day of sensory overload with its flavour of carnival fun. Grab a mojito while its team of dancers and acrobats do their thing. It’s promising surprises, so mull over what those might be and get your ticket in the bag.
Fourth Birthday Party
Friday 24th June
2016 is Ocean Beach Ibiza’s fourth birthday and as they’re such a social bunch, you’re invited. Friday 24th June is the date to light the candles, only for them to be soaked at the poolside. Ocean Beach resident DJs in for the party are Tom Crane, Giuliano A.L. and Grant Collins, plus guests to be announced. Birthdays are special and the Ocean Beach Ibiza crew always put on a good show to give something back to the holidaymakers who choose the San An venue as their party spot.
Tup Tup
Sunday 10th July
Ibiza is set to welcome Newcastle’s No.1 boutique nightclub and celebrity haunt, Tup Tup Palace. It's partied with everyone from Kanye West, Ed Sheeran, Drake, Dizzee Rascal, Jess Glynn, Skepta, 50 Cent, Snoop Dogg, Will.I.Am, Olly Murs, Wretch 32, Example and many many more. How about that? It’ll be throwing an exclusive party at Ocean Beach Ibiza featuring some VERY special guests. Considering who it’s partied with, that could be many a high profile star.

Sunday 21st August
Colours events have really found a holiday home here at Ocean Beach Ibiza, and this year it’s back for another edition of its poolside extravaganza. The music takes centre stage at all parties of course, but with Colours’ long history in club land culture, appreciate that this is a big ‘un. DJs are still to be announced but the line-up will be arriving soon…
Kinky Malinki
Sunday 4th September
Kinky Malinki has a history with Ibiza that dates back to the early 2000s, but it’s been a while since hosting an event, so let’s give it a big welcome back to the White Isle. Many of you would have been roaming toddlers, unable to even say Kinky Malinki, so it’ll be fantastic to see the new team join the old school crew, attracted to the event for nostalgic reasons.
Ocean Beach Closing Party
Friday 30th September
Join the madness as the Ocean Beach team celebrate what's sure to have been another belter of a season. Historically this will include DJs going off script, champagne popping aplenty and unspeakable shenanigans. Prepare to be finding glitter in unexpected places for weeks to come.
