International Music Summit has dealt its 2016 dates for its three global gatherings across IMS Engage, IMS Ibiza and IMS Asia-Pacific. Minds were locked at the music events of 2015, with matters of educational and motivational material, and its return to celebrate the full spectrum of dance music artistry is in sight.
The electronic music camp with its artists, visionaries, brands and entrepreneurs will begin its tour to entertain and educate on 21st April at IMS Engage in California. The host is W Hollywood and topics will delve into the informative and exploratory with discussions between icons of electronic music and the wider-world of film, fashion, finance and futurism. From here, IMS will head to Ibiza on 25th to 27th May for their main, global flagship summit - a comprehensive three-day event that sets the agenda for the year ahead. As day meets night, there's a full schedule of evening events with Wednesday's IMS Legends Diner, Thursday's Back To Live at The Hard Rock Hotel Ibiza, and finally, to see it all off, Friday we'll be at the IMS Dalt Vila show.
While Europe and the U.S have been conquered, Asia is somewhat new territory for IMS which first ventured into the Asian continent in 2014 in Singapore and then again in 2015 in Shanghai. With 2016 comes big things for IMS and the Asia-Pacific territory specifically as its been pinpointed as a place of opportunity with its big population of young, eager fans, aspiring talent and hungry professionals with their eyes on nurturing the electronic music scene. Shanghai plays host on 28th to 29th September and these two dates will rally together minds on how to work with the unique challenges and landscape of the region. IMS will partner with Budweiser Storm Festival, China's premier electronic music gathering and this will offer delegates the opportunity to talk business in the region followed by a series of satellite parties.
