The annual Time Warp Germany festival is no doubt triggering a mad rush of ticket sales with this year’s line-up announcement. 2nd April is the date for 2016’s mass congregation of the techno savvy sort as a host of very familiar and much loved faces join a slightly smaller number of the scene’s heavyweights who have yet to play at the 20,000 capacity Maimarkthalle venue.
Time Warp virgins, Kölsch, Apollonia and Solomun will be joining Mannheim mainstays that includes Sven Väth, Pan-Pot, Marco Carola, Loco Dice, Dubfire, Laurent Garnier, Luciano, Monika Kruse, Chris Liebing, Len Faki, Richie Hawtin, Nina Kraviz, Magda, Nick Curly, Tale Of Us, and Steffam Deux. Also on the bill are live performances from Recondite and Petar Dundov, while collab sets will see The Martinez Brothers join forces with Seth Troxler, and Henrik Schwarz and Frank Wiedemann doing their stuff as Schwarzmann.
Early bird tickets might have flown, but at €65 with all of the above, plus more, it's an absolute killer. There's a reason Time Warp has been going since 1994.
