If you want to dip into a new work-out experience whilst away, you’d be right to step into this cool pop-up yoga session organised by The Workout Club Ibiza (TWC Ibiza) at Hostal la Torre on Wednesday 3 February at 5.30pm. The 60-minute session is intended to suit all levels of fitness and body types, so don’t worry about not keeping up.
The class will familiarise you with the basics of yoga and to challenge you on a basic level to move your body differently. The classes are priced at a reasonable €10 and it’s first come, first served, so get there early.
The session takes place on the Upper Terrace at this gorgeous boutique hotel perched high on the cliffs just outside San Antonio. It’s a great place to go and relax amidst Mediterranean flora whilst enjoying one of the most magical sunsets around.
There’s a top restaurant at Hostal la Torre that’s open all day for breakfast, lunch and dinner, so post yoga, you can hold on there, relax and have a juice or a glass of wine as you sink into the evening ready to eat.
Anya who leads these classes uses the mindful Vinyasa Flow in teaching yoga, to guide students to find natural alignment in poses to fit their own body. The idea is that through breath and movement you will deepen your yoga practice, create strength, awareness and harmony in both the mind and body. It's forcing me to believe it.
Don't forget to bring a yoga mat or large hotel towel, TWC Ibiza promise to bring “sun, fun and happy faces”.
