Craid David drops Ibiza Rocks line-ups

Now we know who'll be on side for the South Beach Miami vibes.

Seems like only a fortnight ago that we told you Craig David, the king of UK garage, is Ibiza bound and is set to be all over your BOINK with his own residency. That’s good news for everybody because spring is obviously fading fast into summer. As a quick reminder, before we crack on to the update that’s been released from his camp, Craig David TS5 is a Sunday afternoon sesh at Ibiza Rocks Hotel for eight weeks from 17th July to 4th September.

Now for the newly released line-up stuff that’s going to influence whether you want a cut of the South Beach Miami vibes that he’s offering. Every week, he’s saving one spot for a carefully chosen guest and his selections are laudable. We’re tackling this week by week and beginning with jack of all trades Majestic who’s MC’d for everyone from DJ EZ to Andy C and is known to pack house with heavy basslines; BBC Radio 1 host Monki who was plucked by Annie Mac at just 21 years old to be a resident at touring club night ‘AMP’; My Nu Leng, the Bristol duo who evade being categorised and have recently lent their selector skills for the 86th edition of the Fabriclive series; grime’s most opinionated MC and former Noisey UK Man of the Year Big Narstie; Preditah, who crashed onto Ibiza in 2015 as a Sankeys resident for The Redlight which dominated last year; pioneer, respected DJ, accomplished producer/remixer, and label manager Matt Jam Lamont who also stormed the White Isle with Sankeys' The Redlight, as the main resident; DJ Zinc who’s considered a pioneer and stalwart of several key electronic music genres that have seized London; and finally, Toyboy & Robin who are signed to Big Beat Records and slice their house with garage, bass and whatever fits in between.

Influenced? Being under the influence will cost you just €30.
