Hard Rock Hotel Ibiza celebrates Pinktober

HRH goes pink all in the name of charity.

October has to be one of our favourite months in Ibiza and Hard Rock Hotel have just added to our list of reasons. Yes, the summer season may be over but there’s no need to feel blue as the Hard Rock Hotel, located in Playa Den Bossa, are going pink all in the name of breast cancer. Celebrating Pinktober - Hard Rock Hotel Ibiza’s yearly campaign to fight against breast cancer - the hotel invites you to join their initiative to raise funds for this worthy cause.

So, what can you expect from this pink extravaganza? Well, for starters, the hotel’s facade during the evening will shine a pretty shade pink - cute! If you’re lucky enough to be staying at the hotel, then your welcome drink will also be in the spirit of things and be a delightful shade of, you guessed it, pink. Head into the Rock Shop and for every €5 spent you will get a ticket to participate in the Pinktober contest to win a Fender guitar signed by Alejandro Sanz (and yes that’s pink, too).

You can also do your bit by ordering one of the charitable pink cocktails on offer throughout Pinktober in the Eden, Flloyd’s, Splash or Eden beach clubs. A delicious mixture of gin, elderflower liqueur, pineapple juice, strawberry and pineapple syrup, a dash of milk and a few drops of lime, it’s the perfect party partner. For each pink drink purchased the hotel will donate €2.50 to the Pinktober campaign which will raise funds for the Asociacion de Ibiza y Formentera contra el cancer, to fund programmes to prevent and combat breast cancer. Over the last 16 years, Pinktober by Hard Rock International has raised millions of dollars around the world for breast cancer research and awareness initiatives.

So head on over, order a pink cocktail and do your bit. Oh and don’t forget to show your support with the hashtag #PINKTOBER
