There's one place that the dreaded Sunday night back to work feeling doesn't exist and that's Ibiza. Why? Because Sunday's are pretty epic here on the island. With a whole host of activities on offer and places to visit, Sunday is the favourite day of the week for most island residents. From delicious brunches to entertaining the kids, to Sunday's sunset spots, we've rounded up our top Sunday spots that you need to know about….
Benirras Hippie Drumming
One of the island's most iconic spots to watch Ibiza's spectacular sunset, Benirras beach, comes alive on Sunday evenings. Hippie drummers descend to drum down the sunset, creating a party atmosphere and special surroundings to experience the stunning views. Be prepared to arrive early as parking can be busy. Pack your beach blanket, a picnic and some homemade sangria to enjoy as you watch the sun go down. As evening creeps in head over to Elements beach club for Open Lab Sundays throughout the summer, where you can hear music from the likes of Robert Miles, Alex Wolfenden, Andy Baxter and Manu Gonzalez.
Pikes on Sundays
The end of We Love….Sundays at Space left a sad gaping hole in our Ibiza Sunday ritual however the team behind the original party decided to set up shop at a new venue, Ibiza Rocks House at Pikes Hotel. Sundays at Pikes has fast become the place to be seen on a Sunday. Kicking off with cocktails by the pool and chilled balearic beats, the relaxed vibe is great for kids and adults alike. A delicious Sunday roast is served from 1pm - 8pm (booking early is advisable). As the evening creeps in things pick up pace and move into the potting shed and later into the famous Freddies suite for further party vibes. Not to be missed!
Can Horse
Can Horse is a horse sanctuary in Ibiza which provides care for old, abused or abandoned horses and relies solely on public donations. On Sunday the project hosts an open day throughout the year, where it opens it's doors to visitors to come along and learn more about horses and the project. Children can enjoy guided horse and pony rides from 4pm - 7pm (times vary depending on season so please check website). A great experience for the whole family.
The Olive Tree
If you're full to the brim with paella and on the hunt for a traditional British Sunday roast, The Olive Tree should be top of your list. Located just outside of San Antonio, in Cala De Bou, the cute restaurant offers traditional British food including the arguably best Sunday roast you'll find on the island. With a selection of roasted meats on offer, accompanied by colourful vegetables, crispy roast potatoes and creamy cauliflower cheese, it really does hit the Sunday spot. Reasonably priced and beautifully presented, cosy up in their quaint indoor restaurant or enjoy the pretty shaded terrace.
Tropicana's Tropical Fiesta
At Tropicana beach club in Cala Jondal, Sundays are far from a day of rest. Sundays are celebrated with a tropical festival at the Kiosk. Enjoy Caribbean and Brazilian rhythms where you can dance samba, salsa and merengue on the sand. Festivities kick off at 8pm and our advice is head there to chill on the beach for the day, snapping up a delicious lunch beachside before dancing the night away with a pina colada.
Cala Llenya flea market
Looking for some retail therapy? Cala Llenya flea market should be on your Sunday visit list. A fashionistas paradise and horders dream, expect to find vintage clothing, bric-a-brac and unique gems. Known for it's diversity of stalls, it's more than just shopping on offer here you can experience live music and snap on delicious paella, too. Oh, and you can hit the beach after! Open every Sunday 9.30am - 4pm, arrive early for bargains.

Acid Sundays at Heart Ibiza
Heart Ibiza's Acid Sunday festivity is the place to party on a Sunday night. Acid Pauli and his weekly selection of eclectic and progressive music, will take you on a journey and end your week on a high. Expect psychedelic sounds, live bands and DJ guests and it wouldn't be Heart Ibiza without some freaky performance art included. Doors open at Midnight, while the party really gets started around 1am.
