Piers Agget, Kesi Dryden, Amir Amor and DJ Locksmith are the guys behind the quartet Rudimental, a south-London band that has leapt to fame in a meteoric way in the past three years. After starring in and producing singles like Feel The Love or Waiting All Night (featuring Ella Eyre) they have topped the charts all over the world, especially in the UK. Though the genre which opened doors for Rudimental into the electronic scene has been drum’n’bass, these DJs and producers have proved their mastery to reach the ears of the audience with soul, blues, hip-hop and house sounds, showing a band born with an all-surface spirit.
But nonetheless, their greatest weapon is their live performance where Rudimental are even more explosive than in the studio, including turntables, guitars, keys and sax in their live sets. Last week they proved it at the We Love Sankeys Opening Party, offering a massive show that had to be lengethen by almost an hour because the dancefloor were having such a good time...
The band, who is working with Black Butter Records (a hub of the independent British dance music scene at the moment) have more dates in this 2015 Ibiza season. They will be breaking the main room dancefloor of Amnesia for the Together party three days this summer: July 7th, 4th August and the 1st of September where they will share the night with the emblematic Skrillex. But that’s not all, because they also will come back to the stage who saw them debuting at the isle, Ibiza Rocks, on 29th of July.
