Oh Destino, you are spoiling us now! For those who are not familiar with one of Ibiza’s newest clubs, Destino is located on the cliffs of Cap Martinet above Talamanca and famous for one-off outdoor parties and some of the best views over Ibiza town. Sure enough, they are treating us to not one, not two, but THREE special parties of gigantic proportions this summer.
Kicking off the hat trick is Steve Aoki’s tasty cake party on Wednesday 23rd July. This appetising jamboree starts at 4pm until half 11pm which means baking all day in the Balearic sun until it sets. The icing on the cake is that even more artists are to be announced over the next week so keep your peepers peeled (at Spotlight obviously).
Next up we have Pacha’s famous night Flower Power blooming at Destino on Friday 8th August. If you are unfamiliar with this petal party think of it as a time machine transporting you back to 60s classics, peace signs and happy hippys. In addition, this is the day of the Ibiza town fireworks, so you can enjoy the swinging 60s celebrations at Destino and then experience the fireworks from up there at midnight. All together now….. “All we are saying is give peace a chance”
Here’s another one for your closing party calender; Destino draws its season to an end on Wednesday 8th October. Just like The Cake Party and Flower Power, festivities commence at 4pm until half 11pm as we wave a final goodbye to the White Isle for another year.
Remember for all Destino events you are encouraged to make use of the free Destino buses! You can clamber aboard one of these buses from 7pm onwards from the stops such as Playa Den Bossa (outside Tantra and Hotel Algarb), Figueretas (Coolture Café), Ibiza Town (outside McDonald’s in the port and Pacha parking) and San Antonio (at the bus station).
