Only three sleeps until the clubbing giant that is Cream returns to Amnesia with a triumphant roar – charging into its 20th season on the island with a line-up worthy of the iconic Cream brand. Just in time for the commencement of its 2014 season, the team has announced a fresh batch of artists to be joining Terrace resident Steve Angello, the latest in the illustrious list of Terrace headliners which also includes electro giants Calvin Harris, Laidback Luke, Deadmau5 and Eric Prydz.
Welcome to the fold Max Vangeli, Dimitri Vangelis & Wyman and Tim Mason, who are booked to join Steve Angello on the 24th of July. AN21 and Third Party play both September 11th and 18th, whilst Anthony Probyn completes the line-up on the 11th and Jamus Dutton rounds off the 18th. That leaves only the 4th of September still without a Terrace line-up, but we’ve come to learn that a delayed announcement often means big tings!
With line-ups (almost) all in place, we can get on with looking forward to the imminent opening, where Amnesia is certain to pack out and go mental, a state of affairs Cream can guarantee pretty much every Thursday in a season. After 20 years at it, Cream has perfected the art of the party, offering the perfect compliment of euphoric or gritty trance and high-energy electro house between the two enormous rooms of Amnesia.
This Thursday the terrace will house Calvin Harris, Michael Woods, Burns and Sean Hughes whilst over in the main room the trance vibes will be flowing with longtime Cream resident Paul van Dyk plus Aly & Fila, Simon Patterson and Bryan Kearney. If you come to Cream, you come to rave – nothing half-hearted will do at this larger than life fiesta, so best wear shoes you can quite literally dance until dawn in.
