Ibiza Rocks have announced a further five artists in addition to the already impressive lineup of Haim, The 1975, Ed Sheeran, Rudimental, Bastille, Bombay Bicycle Club, Tinie Tempah, John Newman and more.
The five additional artists are Lily Allen, Madness, Ella Eyre, Dan Croll and Krept & Konan.
Lily Allen will be making her Ibiza debut on 26th June after relaunching her career and on the back of winning 'Best Solo Artist' at this years NME Awards. The cheeky little lady has a reputation for speaking her mind and showing her attitude on stage and through her music. Her connection with the island is one many can relate to - blagging a few extra days on holiday on Ibiza after her parents went home, getting wild and her new life started from there!
"I’m really looking forward to performing at Mallorca Rocks and Ibiza Rocks in June. Ibiza was my home for a summer when I was a teenager, and I’ve always loved going there. I’m certain that these two shows will be a highlight in my summer schedule." - Lily Allen
The Madness are proper mad. Nuts you might say and they will be playing on 13th August. They appeared on the Rocks stage first time round back in 2012 and we all bore witness to one of the craziest crowd reactions ever seen for the Ibiza Rocks gigs. The IR team have a tradition of laying on quality acts that have helped to shape the music scene over several generations, with Nile Rogers and Chic, The Specials and New Order being good examples. It will be great to see the gang back.
'We're back by public demand, voted the best Ibiza live show in 2012, the people have spoken, it would be rude not to.' - Madness
Ella Eyre is only 19 years old, but as a vocalist is showing real signs of being a seasoned star. You will have heard her voice on Rudimental's 'Waiting All Night', amongst other tracks. She supports Clean Bandit on the 27th August. Dan Croll blends folk music with electro-pop and makes it work, with his debut album 'Sweet Disarray' doing well and Dan providing the support for many artists on the Rocks 2014 bill in the UK. He provides the support for crossover stars Bombay Bicycle Club at the closing party on 17th September. Krept & Konan are the masters of their own destiny by releasing their debut album whilst still being unsigned and gaining a host of accolades including MTV's 'Best of the Best MC's 2013'. They will be the perfect support to Tinie Tempah on 2nd July.
Tickets for all gigs are available now, priced at 40€ for a standard ticket or 60€ for a VIP balcony ticket.
