June of this year saw the opening of Ibiza's first Hard Rock Cafe on the Paseo Vara de Rey in Ibiza Town.
For those of you who may not be aware, The Hard Rock brand has a total of 150 cafes all around the world, including New York, San Francisco, London, Dubai and Sydney, and is famous for its authentic American cuisine, excellent service, rock shop and music memorabilia.
To celebrate its first season on the White Isle, and in keeping with Hard Rock Cafe's tradition of throwing a great party to honour all friends, colleagues and collaborators whenever it opens in a new city, this prestigious world brand is now preparing a Grand Opening Party which will take place on Thursday 26th September at 20.00 hrs in the Parque Reina Sofia, Ibiza Town.
What makes this particular Grand Opening Party unique is that it takes the form of a live concert, and entry is completely free of charge so everyone on Ibiza is welcome to come and join in the celebrations.
Special guests will include two internationally-acclaimed bands, Dover and Macao, as well as official ambassador of the Hard Rock Cafe Brand, Rita Galligan, who was the first waitress to ever serve in the original Hard Rock Cafe in London back in 1971.
In addition, this event will be supporting "Pinktober" which is a campaign against breast cancer that Hard Rock International has been sponsoring for the last twelve years through donations raised by concerts such as this forthcoming one in Ibiza.
To complement this mega event, Hard Rock are also launching an exciting Facebook competition, with three generous prizes being offered of VIP access to the concert and free bar, VIP entrance to "Antz" closing party at Ushuaia, dinners at Hard Rock Cafe, and various music memorabilia and clothing.
Certainly a special date on the Ibiza calendar, Hard Rock Cafe Ibiza's Grand Opening Party, which also serves as a prelude to Europe's first ever Hard Rock Hotel opening in Ibiza in 2014, promises to be a spectacular show that will have everyone singing and dancing.
If you are on the island on the 26th September, be sure not to miss it.
