Acid House will be supplied in generous portions on this coming Sunday the 4th August from an act named Underworld, and they are live! Underworld Live performances are legendary the world over, an experience not to be taken lightly. You probably first knew them from a track titled Born Slippy, on account of this being their most referenced piece of music, or most recently by their fine work on the London Olympics 2012 opening ceremony (musical directors, not athletes), but their work can be referenced over three decades, between the year 1988 to only a few years ago, with some more recent solo work coming from each of the members - Rick Smith and Karl Hyde. The fact is, knowledgeable about music or clueless, you're likely to have heard of Underworld.
Arguably, the Discoteca of Space is the greatest room for a live electronic act like this, and We Love has had a lot of experience in bringing these sort of groundbreaking live acts to the space over the years. There will be no denying though that the aural pleasantries and visual delights that will cast their gaze upon our wide eyes early on Monday morning will bring out the absolute (sort of) best from all of us who will be in attendance.
Joining Underworld will be James Zabiela, Ben UFO Vs Paul Woolford, Benji B, Midland and Jem Haynes, whilst over in la Terraza we can take a few moments away from the madness with Scuba, Derrick Carter, DJ Ralf and Yaya. Oh, and there's another three rooms too... things are gonna get real serious.
Tickets for this Sundays show, along with information about all things We Love can be found HERE.
For now though, sit back and enjoy this full live performance from 2008.
