Sasha 'Never Say Never' at The Ushaïa Tower Line-up Revealed

Master Sasha aims to return to his Ibizan roots with this season's residency at the Ushuaïa Tower.

One of the true giants of the industry Sasha has announced full details of his new weekly residency, 'Never Say Never'. It takes place at the Ushuaïa Tower every Sunday starting 7th July. With the island rapidly expanding in a huge wave of promoters and people, it's more important than ever to preserve the original darling spirit of the Ibiza (see our in-depth Season Preview). This season there are those that have deliberately geared their events towards capturing and reviving the original romantic ideals of the island: open air locations; day time parties; and a warm tierless camaraderie. DJ Sasha is one of these figures. The parties will run from 3pm until midnight each week and entry will be free, again encouraging a return to the original ethos of the island and Sasha's previous Ushuaïa beach party residency.

I love the fact these parties are free and taking place on Sunday daytime, bringing back a bit of the old island spirit of Sunday daytime raving - Sasha

The Opening Party this Sunday features Sasha - who shall play every week - alongside Mannheim producer Nick Curly and rising house duo Hunter/Game - known for their slow yearning vocals and Crosstown Rebel style synths. The party may be free but as usual with the Ushuaïa experience it is best to dress on the smart side of casual - or employ some damn strong style.

Running for 13 weeks Never Say Never brings a fresh roster of collaborators and friends to the island fray whilst featuring additional secret and special unannounced guests each week. The 28th of July features American house maestro and outspoken commentator - DJ Sneak. On the 4th August Sasha mimics the anticipated extended sets seen in Cocoon and settles in for a mammoth 6 hour set - his longest performance on Ibiza for more than a decade. The golden days are sure to come two-stepping back. Laura Jones, Butch and tech-house shape shifter Simon Baker also feature in the summer line-ups alongside equal parts fresh faces and veteran guards.

From his humble beginnings Sasha remains one of the biggest figures in the electronic scene boasting a unique take and style on the music he plays and curates. Citing 'total creative freedom' and a 'no rulebook policy' it shall be interesting to see how the musical direction of the self-proclaimed 'free and open' party develops in the chic and structured world of the opulent Ushuaïa Tower. Tickets for all events are available through Spotlight along with accommodation and package deals for both Ushuaïa and The Ushuaïa Tower.
