BBC Radio 1 and Cream have announced that they will once again join forces to take on the worlds biggest club - Privilege - on Saturday 3rd August as part of Radio 1’s annual Ibiza Weekend, from 11pm until late.
Last years event was a complete sell out, ramming the club front front to back, across all the rooms, with the sweaty raver atmosphere in full flow from start to finish, as the main room enjoyed sets from the likes of Sebastien Ingrosso and Alesso whilst the amazing Vista Club - in its debut year - hosted Zane Lowe amongst others. This year we expect more of the same, with a very strong lineup of BBC Radio 1 and Cream favourites.
Leading the bill is Eric Prydz with his unique brand of progressive house earning him a solid reputation as both a DJ and a producer, with Chase & Status performing a DJ set, along with BBC Radio 1 DJs Pete Tong, Zane Lowe, Mistajam, Benga and Danny Howard. Also included in the lineup are dance music heavyweights Hardwell and Gorgon City, with support from Cream Residents, Koan Sound and The Frederik.
Pre-parties are of course going down across the island from the evening onwards, at Kanya and Ibiza Rocks Bar in San Antonio, BN3 in San Antonio Bay, Tantra, Coco’s and Spectrum in Playa d’en Bossa and Coolture Café in Figueretes. Once you’re suitably warmed up for the nights main event buses will available to take people from the pre-parties and bus stops to Privilege.
For the first time for Cream at Privilege, BBC Radio 1 will be broadcasting the party live on the air from 2am to 6am Ibiza time (take an hour off that if you are listening in the UK).
Tickets are on sale from Spotlight at 55€, and based on last years event, we would seriously advice you purchase these early or run the risk of missing out.
