Pacha surprised everyone when they released their full weekly programme for summer 2013. No less than four new parties are featured in their summer schedule and with this, a whole host of new artists are set to perform in the world's most famous cherry venue this year.
In the build up to this new season, Pacha are now inviting everyone on the island to celebrate the start of another Ibiza summer with four very special parties, showcasing some of the aforementioned new artists. And we're not talking about 'just a new season approaching' for Pacha, the Ibiza franchise of Pacha is turning 40 this year, so expect celebrations aplenty!
The first of said events takes place on Saturday 13th April, when Solomun hits the decks at Pacha for the very first time this season. The shooting star of the Ibiza 2012 season will hold his own Sunday night residency Solomun+1 at Pacha this summer, always bringing one guest with him to ecstasize the Pacha crowd. For this pre-season bash, Diynamic label mate H.O.S.H. will be playing alongside Solomun. Entry is free for residents providing proof of residency, and on top of that, there's a free glass of champagne ready for you if you arrive before 1:30am!
Up next in the line of those season warm-up parties is Guy Gerber. He'll come to the island on Friday 19th April and will give us a taste on how his new Wednesday nighter Wisdom Of The Glove will sound and feel. Put this date into your agenda anyway, because as a great starter into that night, the next Spotlight night at NINE is happening beforehand; more on this soon.
The third of the four new Pacha nights is called Epica and will happen on Mondays. Chuckie will be one of the main protagonists of this party and he'll also pay Ibiza a pre-season visit, of course with a gig at Pacha, on Saturday 27th April.
Last but not least, Fridays this summer will be INSANE. And to round off the build up to the Pacha 2013 season, DJ legend John Digweed wil be the first one to present this new party on Friday 17th May, just before the Pacha Festival in Amsterdam takes place the next day.
The week after that, the International Music Summit is on the menu and with this, the Ibiza 2013 season will officially be launched. But by presenting these four parties already during the next weeks, the summer starts even earlier - thanks Pacha!
