Ibiza Rocks: New Artists and MTV Collaboration

Ibiza Rocks add new artists to the line up and announce a collaboration with MTV.

We’re living and breathing line-up announcements at Spotlight HQ right now, and thankfully Ibiza Rocks has given us another tasty morsel to share with you, announcing a stack of new acts to fill out their calendar plus an interesting new collaboration with MTV.

Joining Example, Jake Bugg and Foals on the 2013 line up will be Ellie Goulding, Dizzee Rascal, The Vaccines and Rizzle Kicks, plus Palma Violets, Jagwar Ma and Redlight.

Ibiza Rocks Group has also announced a new broadcast partnership with MTV, which will involve 8 shows broadcast on MTV Live HD and MTV Music. The series will be filmed during the 16 week season of Ibiza and Mallorca Rocks and include live performances, exclusive artist interviews and other highlights across the summer.

Ibiza Rocks is an increasingly lauded venue and it seems the artists are as keen as the fans for this one...

“I’m really excited to be in Ibiza this summer. Ibiza Rocks is something I've always wanted to play and the crowds have a reputation of really bringing it!"
- Ellie Goulding

“It always goes off on that island, I love vibing off the crowd – those guys know how to rock it!”
- Dizzee Rascal

“'We still have incredibly fond memories of the first time we played Ibiza Rocks. It was so much fun. It was in the middle of our first busy summer playing festivals and the whole thing felt like a holiday.”
- The Vaccines

“The gigs have a real party atmosphere with people dancing on their bedroom balconies all around the stage. It's a pretty unique experience...you really get up close to the fans and we can't wait to get back"
