IMS Video Keynote: James Barton from Cream / Live Nation
IMS got the exclusive first lengthy interview with James Barton of Cream about the recent sale of Cream to Live Nation and his new role as President of Electronic Music for the global giant.

IMS Video Keynote: Nile Rogers from Chic
IMS devoted 60 minutes to the life story of legendary producer Nile Rodgers – we could (and should) have let them talk for days. It was an emotional interview with Pete Tong, complete with guitar, comments about Daft Punk, Donna Summer and electronic music today with people leaving the room in tears.
IMS Video Keynote: Giorgio Moroder
Giorgio Moroder made a rare appearance at a conference by speaking at the International Music Summit in Ibiza. Moroder – currently recording on the island – spoke about his incredible history with electronic music and spilled the beans on the new Daft Punk recording for which he’s played a role. Incredible history, incredible man and he’s vowes to make a strong return!
IMS 2012 Burn Studios Presents NEXTGEN ft Luciano
IMS 2012 showcased a panel in association with Burn Studios on the next generation in the electronic music world. Moderated by Bobby Simms (Exploding Plastic) The likes of Luciano, Nina Kraviz joined Porter Robinson and Andrea Oliva to share their stories on what worked and didn’t work in their rise in the electronic music world with input from Beatport’s Clark Warner and Mixmag’s Nick De Cosemo made for a great panel, one for every up and comer to check out.
IMS 2012 Danny Tenaglia World Exclusive
A few weeks after we received “that Facebook message” from Danny Tenaglia, IMS partner Ben Turner picked up the phone to see how he was and invited him to share his thoughts in more detail with the IMS delegation. Clearly as part of his message was related to endless traveling, it wasn’t appropriate to ask him to attend. Instead, the IMS audience got an insightful and heartfelt conversation with Mr T on skype about his future and about what he really meant to say.
IMS 2012 Grand Finale Official After Movie
IMS 2012 open-air Dalt Vila events proved a huge success our biggest and best yet, Day 1 24/5 saw David Guetta once again host the Thursday night, inviting Diplo, Paul Oakenfold, Goldfish (live) and MINX to join him for another very special IMS collaboration. A free party for the locals and David Guetta fans.
Day 2 25/5 .Carl Cox most definitely took centre stage on the biggest Friday night Finale yet, topping a bill that included Loco Dice, Seth Troxler, Pete Tong, Azari & III (live) and newcomers Disclosure, who performed with the set-to-be massive Jessie Ware.
A sold out friday night proved to be an iconic Ibiza moment, Dalt Vila a Unesco World heritage site with the Balearic sea back drop left the crowd enchanted and wanting more.
IMS would like to thank the Ayuntamiento d'Eivissa for allowing us to put on such a special event and The Shop Ibiza for the amazing production.
