The fiesta of San Agustin is still one month away but news has already been leaked of the live concert planned for the night of 28th August when two bands with a retro feel will take to the stage next to the church in the village.
Direct from the big city of Barcelona, The Pepper Pots are a 60's themed soul band bringing the magic of Motown and more, as they sound, look and dress the part and are ideal for a party atmosphere where the audience can sing and dance along.
The second outfit, The Piccolissima Jug Band, are even more retro, influenced by music from the early years of Jazz and Swing when musicians used all sorts of everyday objects like jugs and brooms to play music, as witnessed in the 'Skiffle' boom in the 50's.
As you can see from the videos, two good party bands, which should make the fiesta go with a bang, starting at 22.00 on the night!
