San Antonio has a second bite of the cherry with its second big festival of the year, this time to celebrate San Bartolome's day, 24th August. The day starts with a massive 'mascleta' when thousands of super loud bangers are lit in the town' Plaza Espana at 08.00 sharp, so don't say we didn't warn you!
All around the date there will be concerts and celebrations and heaps of stuff going on – swimming, cycling, petanca, competitions, activities for kids, sailing , markets, food, drink and much more.
I've picked out the best events for holiday makers from a 28 page PDF (all in user friendly Catalan) from San Antonio Council and listed it all below.
