Dutch DJ and producer Tiesto is arguably the biggest DJ of all time, so it’s only fitting that he will be playing at the biggest club in the world. Tiesto will return to Privilege for his summer 2011 residency for the fourth consecutive year. The opening party begins on June 6th, and he will be gracing the club every Monday until the massive closing party on September 12th.
Privilege holds the Guinness world record for “World’s Biggest Club”, and upon stepping foot inside there’s no doubt why it lives up to this title. Colorful lights and an extraordinary sound system fill the main room. You’ll barely be able to believe your eyes when you see the large swimming pool. There’s a garden if you need a break from the high energy of the main room, and a dome which provides stunning views of Ibiza. In addition to all that, there is also a restaurant serving Mediterranean cuisine. It’s obvious that this is a nightclub that would take you more than one night to experience and see it all!
The fans at Privilege are a major source of inspiration for Tiesto. Their reactions to his music provide him with ways to experiment with innovative sounds and take his sets in numerous different directions. Much of the inspiration behind his 2009 artist album Kaleidoscope came from fans at Privilege, the DJs that performed there, and the magic and positive energy throughout Ibiza.
In addition to legendary sets from Tiesto, the lineup will also include Bassjackers, Dem Slackers, Hardwell, Henrik B, Jordy Lishious, Karlsson & Winnberg of Miike Snow, Marcel Woods, Nero, Otto Knows, Rebecca and Fiona, Sandro Silva, Steve Aoki, Tai, and more guests to be announced.
