Ibiza's family favourite resort Es Cana celebrates its patron Saint's day this week. St. Cristopher's day – the 10th July – always finishes with a fabulous fireworks display on the beach but because this is Spain there's more than just one day of fun!
The programme starts on 8th July with open air cinema in English (and Spanish subtitles) when the film Coraline is the main feature at 22.00. There's live music on Friday 9th from 22.00 in the Avenida Punta Arabi and the following day, San Cristobal, starts with a mass at 12.00 in Es Cana Chapel.
From then on you can see
12.30: horse drawn cart parade
13.00: paella competition
20.00: parade by the Drum and Cornet Band
21.00: folk dancing
21.30: live music
00.30: fireworks
Have a great time if you're going.
