Style Island Ibiza will have its own fashion week this June courtesy of jewellery designer Neli Caldentey.
She's promoting the Blue Fashion Festival with the collaboration of Santa Eulalia Council and various private business which will be held in the town's Congress Palace from 2nd to 6th June.
Not to be confused with the Adlib catwalk shows, the BFF will feature a maximum of 16 designers from both Ibiza and the rest of Spain - Josep Abril (see photo, left) and Jose Castro are already lined up for shows. There will also be concerts by local groups and a 'shopping mall' to buy the latest designs.
Each day of the BFF will have a different theme for the catwalk shows, for example, one day for casual clothes, another for evening wear, another for beach wear and so on.
It's hoped that the Blue Fashion Festival will one day become the main shop window for modern Spanish fashion with a regular spot on the island's calendar.
