Most visitors to Ibiza think of San Rafael as home to the giant Privilege and Amnesia discotheques or trendy eateries like El Ayoun or L'Elephant.
Now the clubbing season's over the village reverts back to its traditional roots and for the next few weeks there are celebrations a-plenty as the patron saint's day of San Rafael is marked.
There'll be something for everyone with excursions by boat, hikes, dinners, the odd mass, folk dancing, another mass and championships in cards, football and the like.
Like everywhere else there'll be a big marquee in the village for many of the events and I've gone through the programme with a fine tooth comb to pick out those which will appeal to an international audience.
