Ibiza is set to be a port of call of the world's first holiday cruise based around laughter therapy. The Laugh Alive cruise aims to help people who need to lighten up a bit by providing workshops in comedy skills, improvisation, creative storytelling and laughter yoga.
The theory is that laughter releases endorphins which lift people's mood and give effective and immediate antidotes to stress and tension.
The cruisers will be taken to the Space Discotheque in Ibiza where one glance at the assembled giant sunglasses and barnyard hair-styles of Fred Karno's army queuing to get in will immediately eradicate any stress with gales of laughter.
