A citizen of Ibiza has just been fined €60 for insulting a member of the Guardia Civil, and he never said a word!
And even stranger is the fact that the Guardia was in a helicopter at the time. A routine Guardia helicopter patrol had landed in the Sa Caleta area near a group of people working, after taking off again one of the people made a rude gesture which called the Guardia's sexual preferences into question. The chopper then made a non-routine landing to present the miscreant with a denouncement for contempt of authority and a date in court where the fine was levied.
