The Cathedral of Nuestra Señora de los Nieves which towers above the Ibicencan skyline has been given a new look with the complete overhaul and redesign of the illumination system.
Gone are the 25 old spotlights which gave the Cathedral a dull sepia tint, to be replaced by 60 new ones which light up the cathedral in different stunning colours. The whole bell tower is a startling blue hue with the pinnacle shining like a beacon for many miles. As usual, with any change, some people like it, and others don't, but one thing is for sure - it's certainly different!
